17 past presidents attended the annual luncheon to honor a soon to be Past President, Suzanne Boyer.

CACTUS CUP - 2017

Angie Moore and Beth Maynard combined their excellent talents to produce this annual event.  Over 32 women played the Blue course on November 9th in a partner low net, four ball match play contest, on November 14th, on the RED course, partner alternate shot match play and the final day, November 16, Blue course, singles match play.

Two teams were drawn on Tuesday afternoon at RED'S GRILL, November 8th. The theme of this contest was to honor our brave men and women serving our country so the teams were: Devil Dogs and the Fly Girls.

THANK YOU ANGIE & BETH, it was a great tournament and an even better than average turnout of our members. The gloves, ball markers, breakfast goodies and treats, along with all the instructions on playing match play were over the top!

OPENING LUNCHEON 2017

OCTOBER 12 - OPENING GOLF AND LUNCHEON

 Teri Goldade did a great job putting the opening luncheon together at the Wigwam Resort.

At 8:00 a.m., the ladies gathered on the Heritage Course for AC BD Scramble.

 Winners: 1st Place: Beth Maynard, Jan Boggs, Tessie Van Wagner and Judy Wilson beat the field with a combined net score of 128. Congratulations on the opening day golf tournament.

Team Shootout

The Wigwam Women's Golf Association  team gathered on the Heritage course for the annual Shoot Out and year end party. This year's team won third place in net score and only missed second by 1/2 point.

Closing Luncheon

A lovely luncheon was organized by Deb Smith and Linda Cole at the Wigwam Resort.

CLUB CHAMPIONSHIP

This year's club championship was held on April 17, 18, 20

Nine ladies signed up and played in the Club Championship. Eleven ladies played in the Senior club championship.

2017 MEMBER GUEST TOURNAMENT - BIRDIES GALORE

MARCH 26, 27, 28 INVITATIONAL TOURNAMENT - Chairman Liz Nelson and her team did an excellent job planning and executing this annual three day event.

Thirty-one members brought guests to play in a skills contest, the Gold course and the Patriot course.

March 26 - Skills contest from 3-5 with appetizers at Red's Grill.

March 27 - Gold course, best net and gross contest. Each player had to provide at least 6 drives. Mulligans were purchased to toss in a little fun on that very hard course.

March 28 - Patriot course, quota points. A nice second day tournament with lots of balls picked up when not making at least a bogey. Magic putts created lots of birdies for the field.

Winners were plentiful. closest to the pin for members and guests, straightest drives for members and guests, gross and net winners in each of the four flights.

Lunch at Blu Sushi was interesting, not enough tables, ran out of food for the stranglers. However, for us late comers, delicious trays of complimentary sushi, chicken, rice, and other delicacies came out for us to enjoy, in the end, it was quite a treat.

Tuesday lunch at the Wigwam Resort - Arizona Room was a sea of birds! Bird cages, bird nests, towels with birds, pill boxes painted with birds.
