Tessie Van Wagner, Peggy Kirschner, Cathy Gaines, Terry Barker.

27 women golfers signed up for this event but the weather was a very cold - 30 degrees at 8:00 a.m. and pairing chairperson, Suzanne Boyer, had 13 cancellations before the 9:00 a.m. shotgun start.  The game was delayed due to frost on the fairways and greens until 10:00 a.m.  14 golfers started but only 5 finished. To be fair, while it was cold, the sun was shining with a slight breeze but many of the players were too cold to concentrate on golf so they returned to the warmth of their homes.  Di Carter was a finisher but went directly home while the others met up in the Ladies Locker Room for this photo.

The five golfers who finished were:  THE WINNERS:

Thursday, the Sixth of January, was a cold start to the 2011  women's golf events. This tournament was held on the Gold Course and the game was "hate em".  This event has always been popular because our players get pars on three of the hardest holes of their choice posted on their score cards.  Ladies played their regular game to post for their handicap but for the tournament they posted pars on a par 3, par 4 and par 5 of their choice.

Here are the WINNERS:

FIRST FLIGHT
1st: MAYBEN, 2nd: CARTER, 3rd: a tie: MCVETY & DAVIS

SECOND FLIGHT
1st: VAN WAGNER, 2nd: Prill, 3rd a tie: ERICKSON & ARMSTRONG

THIRD FLIGHT
1st: POLUMBUS, 2nd a tie: BOYER & MULVAINE, 3rd: BUTTEMILLER
FOURTH FLIGHT
1st a tie: FREETH & HALLER, 2nd a tie: KIRSCHVINK & DICK
