HOMELESS YOUTH CONNECTION

December 3, 2015  The Wigwam Women's Golf Association sponsored a charity fund raiser for the Homeless Youth Connection.


 Denise James was in charge and gathered 56 members to shell out $25.00 and mulligan and driver money to donate to this worth cause. Golf started almost on time on the Patriot. Players bought mulligans and raffle tickets to enhance their opportunities to win. Denise did an amazing job getting donations for golf around the Valley, and dozens of other gift cards to local restaurants, golf store gift cards and on and on. 40 vendors donated prizes and gifts, making the golf tournament VERY FUN.

We had some mighty good young guys on the third tee for women and the first tee for men. A bonus tee where all the men and all the women could pay $5.00 to have these terrific golfers drive the ball on 13.

A check for $2,239.00 will go to the Homeless Youth Connection.

Past Presidents Annual Luncheon

      December 3, 2015

Elizabeth Nelson hosted this year's annual event. The President's appreciation gift was awarded to Terry Barker as last year's President. The luncheon was held at Macaroni Grill in Goodyear. Elizabeth set a lovely table and 17 past presidents enjoyed a delightful afternoon together.

The team played against Encanto. Wigwam won 48.5 Gross points and 51.5 Net Points

NOVEMBER 2 - PAPAGO TEAM EVENT

The team goes to Papago Golf Course to play with the Tatum Team. The team won combined 90.5 points, low net player: Liz Nelson, low gross player: Terry Barker. Liz and Ann Polumbus were high point winners with a total of 23 points. Go TEAM.
